The “Association Jean Hélion” is an association governed by the law of 1 July 1901 and the decree of 16 August 1901.

The Association Jean Hélion was founded by Jacqueline Hélion with the aim of defending, supporting, promoting and ensuring by all means (in particular publishing, exhibition, film, video, conference, and more generally any archive and repertoire relating to the work of Jean Hélion as a painter and writer, as well as all physical and digital documents relating to his life and work, as well as all fairs and cultural and artistic events) the influence of Jean Hélion’s work, his memory and his life against any attack of any kind and to take all measures to safeguard and preserve them.

The association has a “Jean Hélion Committee“ whose mission is to give advice on the authenticity of the artist’s works, composed of personalities chosen for their qualifications and their knowledge of Jean Hélion’s work.
